Maison 75

Within an existing space in Panama City, an area is being developed for artist’s studios, apartments, and co-working spaces.

The design purpose was to create a fashion retail space in a scheme of a gallery space, where everything is white except for a piece of art.

Reflecting on the white cube gallery aesthetic with a square or rectangular shape and unadorned white walls with light source usually in the ceiling and typical hardwood or polished concrete floors.

The pink piece of art is inspired by the poem Frequently The Woods Are Pink by Emily Dickinson as a representation of a changing landscape from spring to winter, and as a metaphor for the fashion seasonality.
